Andi - Thank you so much for making me positively GUSH!! --to hear that from such a highly educated teacher - wow. That really rocks my socks off!!!

I was so afraid, in early motherhood, that I would actually make my children sick of books, the way some mothers make their children sick of spinach - just by over-serving! LOL I was blessed, however, that they have all turned out to be bookworms just like myself!

Cool!

And thanks for telling me about the ehow.com site - I had never heard of that one!

I spelled diorama right! Woohoo! (Spelling is one of my strengths, it gives me the heebiejeebies to think I'm spelling a word incorrectly! LOL!)

Stopped by your site after I found your comment on mine...

Love your bookworm son! I have two thoughts to share with you.

A)You spelled "diorama" correctly. There's even an E-how on it! I used to love to assign dioramas, because EVERY kid could deal with them!
www.ehow.com/how_12761_make-diorama.html

B) As a former teacher who has a graduate degree in Education, I am here to tell you, its time to celebrate. If your son is in middle school and reading, you have created a life time reader. CONGRATULATIONS! This is harder to do with boys than with girls. He will be a lifetime learner because of you!

I think it was a wonderful gift that you shared with us that you shared them with your daughters on your blog - especially including the photograph of the actual books - that really got to me! Very sweet!

Thanks for the link! I am lucky in that I am the youngest child (by 7 years) and my mom saved most all of my books. It is a wonderful gift to share them with my daughters. Oh, and I loved "Where the Wild Things Are," too. Great pick!
