I've been wanting to do a post similar to this myself. We started reading to our son the very day he came to live with us at 8 months old and have everyday since. I love to read story books about Princesses and Prince. When I grew older, I am very thankful for my Mom because I have realized the values she instilled to me. I learn most of the things I do by reading. That is why I am encouraging my daughter, who is 8, to read... I am proud of her, because she is an honor student and loves reading all kinds of books.
